I have fully working light control, Autoflip enable/disable with max stick position and Autoflip button, at least on my X800.
Channel 5 is light control
Channel 6 is autoflip enable/disable (with max stick input)
Channel 7 is Picture
Channel 8 is Video
Channel 9 is Headless
Channel 10 is RTH
Channel 11 is Autoflip button.

Since my programming skills are very very basic, I don't know how to reverse the functions at the code, so channel 5 (light control) is working reversed. At -100 value lights are on, at 100% value are off.

I can't test Headless and RTH since the X800 doesn't have those functions, but I guess continue working.
Anyone with an X400/X600 or even X900 can test? Especially interested to test the extra functions (Headless, RTH, Lights, Autoflips, Picture, Video ...)
Here is the build:
dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14941708/dev...e-v4.0.1-eabe723.zip

Since I'm not a coder, and maybe the code is not right, or even unsafe to use, I will not post the code to everyone. Only to recognised developers (Hexfet, are you reading ? )

As I wrote before, this is 99.99999999% Hexfet's code, so thank you again for you hard work for Deviation Community :)

My model file valid for 7e with 2 extra switches:
Throttle Trim Up . Picture
Throttle Trim Down. Video.
Rudder Trim right. On/Off lights
SWB Switch . 3 rates.
Hold 1. Cut throttle
Fmod1 Activate Flips at full stick input.
Exit. Autoflip button.

Does your autoflip really work on your ini file model12-2-3.ini?

Is this not neeeded?

[channel11]
template=simple
[mixer]
src=Virt4
dest=Ch11

Maybe even a virtual channel definition is needed?

The reason is that autoflip does not work on my X600.... and i'm trying different changes

Thank's
Andy

Indeed something happened when I attached my model file. My model file does not have the channel 11 (autoflip configured).
Probably I mixed model file versions since I removed the original file and attached a new version.
That's the reason I always defend everyone should at least know how to create his own model files, and not only copy model files from here and there ;)
Here is my model file with the right changes at channel 11. I will edit my original post with this new version.
Thanks for the warning :)

Hi

I have included my experimentel model file for X600 and Devo 7E. It has the following:

Exit button for Autoflip
Throttle trim up and down for 2 additional rates settings (3 Different Rates!)
Ruder trim left for autoflip enable/disable
Ruder Trim right for Headless Mode
FMODE switch for RTH
Trottle Hold for sticky throttle hold and trottle hold off for initialisising the flight controller

I'm testing all the settings.....

Hello and thank you for the work you have done. I'm trying this protocol on my x800. Everything seems to work except the yaw to the left. That is much slower in all rates of speed. As with the original controller does not have this problem. Also I can not turn off the LEDs. Do you have any advice? Thank you

Thanks a lot. Obviously the problem is the firmware installed. Now I see to find the latest version. Thanks again! Now all my models are supported. Missing only yifei XS 1.1

Great!

According Frequent Flyer RC, the left shoulder button pressed on stock X600 TX turns on/off lights.
Check the video from about minute 9

@DC59, please could you check this function with your X600 stock TX?
In case this function is working for you, could you please capture this function?
Thanks! :)

I tried, but left shoulder button is only RTH function,I also tried to 'long press' and it has no function!

I checked my x600 with stock tx. The left shoulder button does indeed switch lights on and off.

edit: The same is true for the second right shoulder switch of the x800 stock tx.

Hi David,
.. i think there are two version of X600
The one with short landing legs and the one with long landing legs.
in my X600, with long landing legs, the top left button is used to switch on/off light
The RTH button work only top right button is pushed and entered on headless mode.

That's my thought also, perhaps 2 TXs versions?
I will check tomorrow my buddy's X300C. We test some days ago all functions and everything worked perfect (including lights on/off) but Headless mode. As wrote before DC59 the headless mode was very buggy... Doing weird things when we activated headless.
We will check tomorrow the light controls on his X300's TX and I will capture SPI traces hoping to find any different bit to light controls and headless mode.

Just received my X800 and wanted to make sure I have the right build for my 7E, I downloaded from a dropbox link you posted with a .dfu dated August 27th, is that the current build?
Thanks!

Just checked my Buddy's X300C TX.
The left shoulder button is used to turn on/off lights when isn't in Headless mode.
So now is very clear, looks like there are 2 TXs versions.

I will capture SPI traces ASAP to this radio, hoping to find the right bits for headless and light controls.

My MJX-600 has short landing gear and the LH shoulder button on the tx does not turn off lights.

<Edit> That's the stock tx, or course, because my Devo 10 has not arrived yet. B)

@Durete I showed your "MJX X800 + DeviationTX = eXtreme pitch angle ! " video to a friend (nice flying btw), the only thing he said was : " where can I buy those mini antennas, I want them on my 7E..." :D he has a X600 and he's fed up with the stock tx and h-is undergoing the installation of a NFR module.

Could you please share a link ?

Thank you.

Edit : Just saw the link on the video... all me
