Problems with DSM2 or DSMX new DEVO8S was created by antalvgil
Hello, we are several friends who have the DEVO8S (new) for a few months and we have noticed that with the DSM2 protocol does not work well. When tested with airplanes or helicopters is very unstable. Lose signal and controls do not respond well. control device is lost and falls.
With the old DEVO8S us works perfectly.
The point is that it seems that the new stations DEVO8S something happens that does not interpret well the DSM2 or DSMX protocols. Please this is repairable and we highly value these protocols.
happens to the new DEVO8S?
I would appreciate it much
thanks

Sorry, I don't know anything about new Devo8S radios, and haven't heard any issues with them. Are there only issues with DSM2/X, or also with DEVO protocols?
Have you done a range check? have you verified if changing the output power has an impact on range?
Is there a sticker on the inside of the battery cover? If so, what does it say?

I have a friend who just bought a new Devo 8s last week (from WOW Hobbies), along with his first helicopter, a Blade 120 SR. They both arrived last Thursday, and I helped him install the latest nightly Deviation v4 release, later that evening. Everything worked without issue. He was using the DSMX protocol. We later got together Saturday morning, and he flew the 120 SR in a large auditorium for about three hours, again with no issues.

Hi, thanks for answering. I answer your questions.:
The DEVO8 protocols work smoothly. I'm flying a MasterCP and all OK. The output power was 100mW ...
The label on the battery is as follows MO130415B0160 1.0A
What I do now is test the new firmware Nightly Builds and we'll see how it works. Now tell you my results
