Bluetooth protocol, physically possible ?

Hi guys !
Having seen this Kickstarter project (Lego Bluetooth Remote Control) , I was wondering wether it would be possible to control the remote control brick (it is meant to be controlled with a smartphone with a Bluetooth signal) with a RC transmitter. So first question is : Is a DEVO transmitter (with Deviation of course) able to emit a Bluetooth signal ?

From Kickstarter site:
"The SBrick contains a Bluetooth Low Energy chip"

BT LE can be faked with nRF24L01, see

But if that is sufficient for the SBrick is questionable.

On their site www.sbrick.com they state:
"All communication to and from the controller app is secured, so you don't have to fear that someone will steal control of your creation during a race."

Which would mean their protocol can be encrypted, which requires that it is not connectionless, and then the BT LE Hack above is not sufficient.
We'll have to see how the protocol looks when they're done (there is some chance its not yet stable), they want to publish it when done.

But don't count on it being usable with Deviation (unless you add a module with BLE112 chip on it and start programming it)
