I think one more capture is required:
Disable / enable altitude hold (chapter 9.3, page 16)
Also, Return Home should work (but not Follow Me).

i test H501s firmware ,
bind ok, and control , flying ok
but i poweroff and try rebind, did not bind.
i tried many times but did't bind
i will try bind original TX
is it possible fixed id mode?
first time -> auto ID bind -> save devo 7e Fixed ID
next time -> use saved fixed ID to bind (no ID change)
devo model setting -> press re-init button or delete fixed ID -> AUTO ID BIND start
and it's nesserey return to home function,
tx power off or link down -> RX change RTH -> TX power up but bind ID missmatch then did not cancel RTH or control

That's normal, I'll make it work like stock transmitter later, you'll have to "click" on bind button the first time to associate the aircraft when the H501 format option is selected. Then the following times it will transmit data as soon as the TX is powered on, without having to rebind.
In the meantime, do not power off transmitter while the machine is airborne

it means,.
after once bind successfully, i powered off both TX and quadcopter
and turn on devo and turn on quadcopter, but can't bind (shown bind cancel message)
i try to bind original TX, and then try to bind devo, bind ok
As a result, binding is possible only once

I don't really get why it can't bind twice in a row, but here's a new test build, with H501 format option selected, "Re-Init" button will change to "Bind", guess what it's supposed to do

Devo 10

Hi Guys,
I just got my hands on a new Hubsan. This I guess is part of their "Plus" lineup. Its the 107P which replaces the 107L *non camera. Anyway, to my suprise and dismay, this thing must be running a different protocol than the originals. I asked a few posts back if this was running the new protocol and I think someone mentioned it was using the old but the original hubsan protocol definitely not binding.
Anyway, it doesn't bind with the Hubsan protocol I have on my Devo 10. When that didn't work I put batteries in the controller it shipped with and I was mortified to find that the left stick is spring loaded just like the 107D. Not sure if this has a barometer in it like the other versions or not but it has the same funky safe motor start and cutoff. At least the batteries are removeable this time. Body is similar to 107C p[us with back door. Battery is 520Mah but one of those slim/long kinds. Also I noticed something in the manual. It mentions "Propeller Guard Mode". You have to power on while holding down one of the trim buttons to tell the Hubsan that its going to be flying with the prop guards on. My guess would be that it delivers more power to the motors? I haven't test this but I've never heard of this. Sorry if this is old news.
Anyway, so can someone point me any new Hubsan protocol that I can try on my Devo 10? I don't really want to mess up my ability to fly the old Hubsans so not sure what's involved with getting new code on here. Is there a new nightly or something? Again, not sure how new things are introduced.

You need "plus" support, it should work with that:

Can I simply just upgrade or should I do anything special? I can research the process just wanting to know as I haven't performed an upgrade ever.

I flashed but I dont see any new Hubsan protocol listed in the spinner box on the controller. I see Hubsan but only options is H107 and H501. Do I need to put anything on the USB?
So assuming Hubsan4 is correct then perhaps this doesn't work with H107P? Doesn't appear to be binding for me.
Nevermind, after turning power on and off it bound. Not sure what the procedure is but looks like its working.
