Programming an attiny85 and connecting it into the iA6B is easy anyway, you should try this route if you really need a RSSI output for your OSD.

hehe, it's okay :D
will try add attiny85 in my rx

Goebish, you have it too! It's a great tool, it helped me to crack XN297 in the first place! I still have not managed to bring order into my notes to publish as a complete report, but I'll go ahead and publish what I have, maybe you, or someone else find it useful.

Yes please, actually I'm rather happy that you didn't publish them before, it forced me do it by myself as a first exercise with the HackRF ;)

@goebish
i'm the friend of alex with the 12s
thx for you quick help.
it works well with the ia6b rx.(first use on 12S)
have also a ia10 rx (updated to last firmware from HK 1.0.8), on this rx the telemetrie is not working.
The funny thing is that the telemetrie is also not working on the I10 TX(running 1.0.8).
maybe bug in the firmware or the protocol is changed.
Don't how to downgrade the rx.
anyhow, if i support with more infos let me know.

reg
Jo

I think Flysky is using different IDs for telemetry sensors compared to Turnigy, that's probably why it doesn't work.

You should upgrade your FlySky RX to Turnigy firmware (I can provide it), but before that I'd like that you give me a backup of your current iA10 firmware so I can flash it to one of the iA10 I have to try to understand and maybe implement telemetry for both brands... Do you have a ST-Link ?

You need a ST-Link V2 ($4 on ebay), no ST SDK knowledge is required and there's only 2 easy wires to solder into the RX, I'll make a schematic.

Here's where to connect the ST-Link SWCLK & SWIO probes in the iA10:
File Attachment:

Then follow this tutorial until step 8 (Click save to make a backup a the firmware):
www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2677694

And here's a backup of the Turnigy firmware that's currently on the iA10 I have if you want to flash it to your RX:

Do you have a 5 Volt power supply connected to the receiver, and do you have connected gnd to the ST-Link as well ?

Check the picture I've posted here:
www.deviationtx.com/forum/protocol-devel...-it4?start=120#49481
maybe it can help ...

Can you post a picture please ?
Maybe the MCU is read protected and there's nothing much we can do then, but I doubt it.

Cool :)

Just a question because I'm confused (again :p).
Does this firmware come from a FlySky or Turnigy RX ?
Was it updated to 1.0.9 by a FlySky or Turnigy i10 ?

I've Alexandro's TGY i10 TX but I've not updated it yet, I will once I have implemented all the sensors with the current firmware that's on it (as you can't go back to a previous firmware version once it's been updated) but I'm waiting for an extra set of sensors (ordered ~2 months ago but the seller did a mistake and I only received a channel extender ...)

Ok thanks, what's really confusing is that you lost telemetry even with the stock transmitter (TGY i10 ?) when you've upgraded to this firmware ...

Regarding the sensors, I already have Alexandro's set, but I need another one to see what it does when there's more than 1 sensor of the same kind connected to ibus (eg 2x external voltage sensor). I suppose I already understand what it will do, but I just need one for confirmation ...
