Can we downgrade the RX in factory mode? (On TGY-I10)
On rx update (factory mode) requires a password?
Does anyone know which is the password?
Only numbers.

Are you sure only the MCU is dead ?
Given the price of a new RX I'm not sure that's worth the effort to try to fix it ;)

You can try to replace and reflash it, but there's not only the MCU on the board, there's also the RF part (a7106 + pa/lna + switch) and other parts (vregs ...)

Thanks for post #52457 , firmware for U7E, but before I flash it, does it include the switches mod for 7e?
www.deviationtx.com/forum/how-to/5824-ul...witch?start=40#50865
it getting bit of difficult to cope with 7e and too many mods versions.......

anyway do not want to take your time, otherwise just will wait to fly AFHDS 2a, until all is sorted.

If this mod isn't in the nightly then it isn't in my build.

I've updated the i10 to 1.0.8 and I think I found how to enable SBUS, but I've to find a solution for this problem first:

@joloebig, it's still working fine here, I updated the TGY i10 from 1.0.7 to 1.08 and tried with an iA6B on 1.6 firmware and iA10 on 1.6 and 1.8 firmwares.
- Int. Voltage
- Signal strength
- RSSI
- Noise
- SNR

Here's a new test build, with SBUS output option.

Devo 6
Devo 7e
Devo 7e "ultimate" (includes silpstream switch mod ;))
... to be continued on the next post ...

Devo 8
Devo 10
Devo 12
source

I had to merge PPM & SBUS output options into the same item, so this is a 4 choices option:
  • PWM + IBUS (default)
  • PPM + IBUS
  • PWM + SBUS
  • PPM + SBUS

I only checked with an iA6B on the scope but it seems to work (UART signal is inverted when SBUS is selected)

sound good to me, maybe it other 1.0.8 than my, i read somewhere that tgy was not consist in ther versions.

btw did you check the telemetrie in flight. i check with a i6 on 1.07 with the tgy tx an the devo 12.
on the i10 there was a stable indication up to 73-75% (~90db) error rate, on the devo 12 it was intermitted fron the start.

I've never checked in flight, but perhaps this is a problem with the A7105 module (or its antenna) in your Devo12 ?
Also, I think we can't expect the same kind of performance as with an i6 or i10 because we're using "simpler" a7105 modules, with only 1 antenna and no rf switch.

if it is because off our 7105 modul so i think it wasting time to work on the external telemetriie, maybe someone else can do a test flight and iss able to compae to i6 or i10.
if can do anything to helpö find out it is problejm or not let me know.

That's a LQFP48, not 64.

@goebish

'S. BUS 'operation verification did. It is operating correctly.
Thank you for a wonderful achievement.

Telemetry is not confirmed, but i confirm the 250m range of at the surface in the module of 16dbm output. (Receiver: FS-IA6B and iA10).
By visual flight I think that radio waves reaching distance is no problem.

goebish thank you.
