JJRC H6W Protocol was created by whensgen
Good Morning!

I'm fairly new to the forums, but I have a working modded 7e to interface with my x600, which works perfectly.

However, I also have a JJRC H6W (wifi FPV) quad. The similar quads to this model (JJRC H6C, H8, so on) all seem to use the 2x2 protocol to communicate, but that protocol refuses to bind to the H6W. Does anyone know for sure what protocol this runs? I'm happy to pull apart the transmitter if that would help.

Thank you!

JJRC are known to never use the same protocol :p

Yes, take a picture of the inside of the transmitter, that's the first thing to do, then check this thread:

is directly uploading them OK, or is uploading to a host like imgur a better way?

That's probably a xn297 transceiver, check the other thread if you want to help ;)

The visible letters on the radio board - "2420" suggest that it may be something more civilized - Beken maybe.

Thanks for the idea. I'll look at that. Any idea what protocol to try and bind?

I am not suprized .... JJRC is always changing its protocol. For ex tje JJRC H20, H20C have the same, the H20W another one.
I am sure it's the same than the H20W. I captured SPI data sometimes ago. See JJRC H20W/ Eachine H99 thread in protocol developpement
