FQ777-951 was created by goebish

I just got a FQ777-951C, it's using a XN297LBW and is not compatible with any existing protocol.
Captures from my TX only are not enough to fully understand the protocol, so more captures are welcome, please help

After a further look I found it's almost similar to the Hontai protocol actually, I only have to implement a sub format as channel range and flags seems different.
So, I don't need captures any more

I have only tried with the 951C version, maybe the W version has something different.
Do you have a controller for it or is it a BNF version that requires that you connect it to a wifi device ?

If you've a stock 2.4 GHz RC controller for the W maybe you can help to find what's different from the 951C by providing some logic captures

It does actually come with a controller and can be flown either with the controller, or via the mobile app. As I say, it showed the usual LED flashes to indicate binding when I turned the Devo on, so maybe both the controller and the attached WiFi device can both send commands to the flight controller.

I'll crack the controller open and see what chippery is in it. I do have a logic analyser, so I'll capture some data as well.

We'll see what the trace shows. I won't get time to do that for a while though as I've had a new frame arrive for a new build and that's going to keep me busy this weekend!
