Protocol for JJRC H56 on T8SG V2 was created by judicmr
Looking for a protocol for the JJRC H56 on the Jumper. It is also sold under the model TAAIW and Taichi
I've tried all the JJRC protocols, but none seemed to work.

Please send pictures of the inside of the transmitter so we can check which transceiver it's using.

See transmitter guts. The IC markings appear to have been scrubbed off.
BTW - In addition to the JJRC protocols, I also tried the E010 and E011 ones.
Dumb question - I always remove the default fixed ID values (123456) prior to binding the first time. Is this the right thing to do for the first bind or could that be causing me problems?

You can leave the ID as it is or change it, this has no importance.
I can't see your pictures, as you're a new user you might not to able to upload here, just use
imgur.com/
edit: Ok, no SPI bus here
What about the Quad ? Can you take a few pictures of the FC ?

It looks like the IC under the white silicone has the following markings:
PAN159CY
1819AH

Ok, that means it's using a XN297 compatible transceiver.
It probably can be deviated, but dump "over the air" with an SDR device or arduino+nrf24 is necessary because there's no SPI bus here, that's not possible to use a logic analyzer.
If you want it to be deviated you'll probably have to send one to me or another dev ...

Anyway, have you tried every nrf24l01 protocols with every format options ?
It might be compatible with an existing protocol (unlikely, but that's worth a try ...)

I will post you a deviation build to dump packet data, so we can maybe get some more info. What t8sg do you have? You can also try the build on the other drones you requested.
edit: please find attached builds for v2_plus and v2. Follow instructions from this post
