T8SG plus "failsafe" settings was created by Rjx
hi
on the T8SG v2 plus, is there an option for fail safe settings?
im trying to use an older flysky reciever (X6B), on iBus protocol, even if I set betaflight to DROP, when I give some random throttle position and turn OFF transmiter, kwad just stays on current last input stick positions.

Multiple people find it confusing, but you have to go into each channel menu and setup, enter the safety value.
It woul be very convienient, if deviation would get a "set Failsave" button, and just put sticks swithes in designated position, press button and all values are set.

oh.. is that so?
anyways this is only problem with older recievers (ia6b, x6b ) the ones I have..
this IS fixable by using sbus instead of ibus. in sbus there is no setting up(I think) the transmitter radio.. once turned OFF, rx goes failsafe.
but in latest flysky rx such as fli14, in ibus protocol, once transmitter turned OFF, it failsafes

It should work on ibus, but please make sure you set the safety value in channel settings. (mainly important is throttle channel)
