Surely I am not the only person to be in need of help with this subject. Grounded now, probably a simple reset. Please help.

Do you have the model loaded on the tx?
Are you using a fixed id? If not go into the Model menu and scroll down to the protocol / bind setting and change it to "re-init". This will make the tx try to bind to the RX.
Then the process is:
Insert binding plug into the RX - Ele socket
Turn on the tx and go to the model menu and scroll down to the "re-init" button.
Press enter then power up the heli.
(Make sure the throttle stick is at minimum and throttle hold is on)
The tx should bind now. If not press re-init again.

So you're still using stock firmware, not Deviation?

I suggest to download the MasterCP manual.
To remove a FixedID Binding you have to put the bind-plug in the elev.
Leave the transmitter off.
Once the RX is rapid flashing on power on it will tell you that the FixedID is removed....see the manual.
After you erased the FixedID with the bind-plug in the ELEV port, you can REMOVE the bind-plug and bind it normally:
According to all RC forum posts I do not even believe that this RX supports a FixedID.
1. Power off transmitter / Power on
2. Within 10 seconds power on the RX by plugging in the flight lipo to the speed controller.
The manual describes the exact sequence, like:
- fast flashing
- BIND
- permanent LED for 1-3 seconds
- servos init
- again flashing
- steady permanent LED
See youtube for a successful bind with the RX.
If the servos work (can be moved) but the RX LED is still SLOW flashing, then there is an error.
The manual describes several causes for a slow flashing/blanking LED.
One for sure is that the wrong incompatible controller is used.
One another might be that the RX gyro/FBL is defective if all other reasons do do not apply.
I do have a slow blinking issue myself, even the servos work.
But I do not have the correct MasterCP speed controller here to test accordingly.
It seems that you have to have the "special" MasterCP speed controller to get it working with the RX. Does not work here with a normal (Non-Walkera) brushless speed controller in THR port.
