How to get my DFU to show up in the update tool?

I am trying to upgrade my Devo F7 to latest firmware for the very first time. Unfortunately I cannot get the update program to recognize my DFU even following the instructions exactly!

- I start the UP02 Update Program (or Dfuce Upgrade software)
- I connect the UP02 cable to DSC-port in my Devo F7
- I connect the UP02 to my PC USB port
- I can see the USB port in the UP02 Program Update Software and click “connect”
- I press “EXT” button in my Devo F7 and turn the power on. Screen says “DEVO F7 program update”
- After that my Devo F7 should appear to my update program, but it won’t.

I have both UP02 Program update software, as well as Deviation’s Dfuce USB Upgrade (v 1.7).

The UP02 cable seem to work normally as I can update my Walkera QR X350 normally.

Any advice?

Why don´t you use the USB port on the F7?

... and yes - it did work. Thx for the tip. I thought that these updates can be done only with UP02.
