Hi all.
It is very upset that no firmware support F12E till yet.
I intended to configure headtracking system on my X4 but noway without PPM mixing.
is there any otherway to use Gyro sensor?
And I found Walkera recently released some head tracking goggle. and it doesnot need any settings actually just minor setting. looks like it is plug and play. how they configure trainer port ? anybody have idea?

summary :
Q1 How configure PPM channel ( #7 and#8 ) with F12E?
Q2 Walkera how they did their goggle working?

thanks

1. Turn off Tx.
2. Connect googles to DCS socket.
3. Turn Tx on.
4. Change 'Trainer' function channels 5(Gear), 6(Flap), 7(Aux2) to 'Active' (or any other channels suited to your goggles).
5. Select trainer switch.
5. Turn the trainer switch to 'ON' position.
6. Press googles channel switch vertically and check that googles movement act as expected on gimbal.

Anyone can answer this question?
walkera goggle2 using below channel and set like this.
it's not clear yet which channel assigned pan/tilt/roll
let say Ch. 5,6,7 control pan/tilt/roll.
And here is my question if any signal on ch5 will it control pan? not Mix SW?
And if my sensor have a channel 7,8. will it work if I set ch. 7,8 as a Mix SW and RUDD D/R

Channel NAME Function ( or Discription )
5 Gear MIX SW
6 Flap RUDD D/R
7 Aux2 ELEV D/R

I have the X350 Pro with F12e Tx, but I believe that the setup is equal to the Scout.
I movedthe gimbal Pitch lever (the right one) to channel 6 in the Tx and inactivated
AUX6 according to below.

Ch Rx port Tx Switch/lever Function
5 Gear MIX SW Flight mode (connected to Main Controller via Rx Data Bus)
6 AUX1 (Flap) AUX6 KB Gimbal pitch (connect directly to receiver)
7 AUX2 ELEV D/R Hyper IOC (connected to Main Controller via Rx Data Bus)
8 AUX3 FMOD SW Circle flight (connected to Main Controller via Rx Data Bus)
9 AUX4 GEAR SW Not used
10 AUX5 AUX5 KB Gimbal Roll (connected directly to receiver)
11 AUX6 GEAR SW Not used
12 AUX7 AILE D/R Camera controller (connected directly to receiver)

With this setup I can still control Pitch with the right lever and roll with the left.
Recording on/off and taking a picture with AILE D/R switch also works.
I lose the "one key to take off", but I can live with that :)
I still have no goggles, so I can't verify that it will work, but it should.

Forgot: You must also physically move the Pitch contact from Rx AUX6 to AUX1.
Then you must activate AUX1 (Flap) in the Training menu in the TX.
You don't really need to manually control Roll, as it is controlled by the gimbal.
If you want to control the Roll manually, you will have to move the AILE D/R to e.g.
AUX4 or AUX6.
The Pan I don't know about, as I have the G-2D, but it could be tricky. Then You must
re-assign the Mix switch to another switch with three positions.

Good luck :cheer:

Please disregard my last post.... It's getting late!
If you want to control Roll with the goggles, you will lose
the "Hyper IOC", as you must assign that channel to Roll.
