Mini cp with devo7. Please help!!!!

I have a mini cp with devo 7 and it seems like I have a great heli that will flip indoors and flip pretty fast. I have played on sims a ton and I'm pretty good. I can flip and roll like no one business. The heli I have just doesn't seem to flip fast enough to hover inverted indoors or really do any 3d inside. Is it the heli or the tx? What setting should everything be on? I saw a guy with a stock heli (same as mine) doing crazy 3d. Please help me!!!!! Here is the video

is it beause he has a better transmitter than me? I don't think that should be the problem.

the guy in that video is pretty good. I have 2 MiniCP, but i need a lot of space to do flips. The heli might do, but not me.
Try that tricks outside with enough space to correct for errors, and above some soft surface (e.g. gras) to minimize damage when you crash.
You will crash a lot
Hit TH before impact, and your heli has good chance to survive.

The more practice you get, the less space you will require.
The Devo7 (don't mix up with Devo7e) is a pain to program, but besides that quite good.

For maximum agility, you need ELE and AIL settings at 100%

im just having trouble figuring out where to set everything. I can navigate and change settings just fine but that doesn't help me set it up when the numbers on the tx for pitch curve range from -100% - +100% and not degrees of angle. also trying to figure out where the gyro % should be and if the EXP setting should be on or off.

You can't compare you to that video.
The guy flying it is Manuel Campos, an extra-terrestrial man for mini heli's 3d.
I think he is the best mini heli pilot in the galaxy !

Maximum pitch for MiniCP should be +-10°. More pitch won't get you more lift.
To measure the pitch, swing blades in parallel to one side.
Then measure the vertical distance of the blade tips. (see above Pitch calculator)
AIL ELE can be maximum without bending anything.
Throttle can be set at 100% flat for maximum performance.
Don't expect more than 3min flight time.

I understand where the pitch should be but I need to know what percent my reote should be at. like is -60% a -10*?

If you have the same pitch curve with TH than in flight, you can measure pitch as described above.
Or you copy model to another one just for setup. There you set throttle at 0.
This may come out to 10° =~ 60% but you should measure it.

The answer depends on your heli. Not just which model, but how yours is tuned. Further, the mini CP main rotor shaft tends to slip after a crash, which changes the pitch curve - usually so that you get little or no positive pitch, hence little or no lift.

Measuring it on the heli is the only way to get it right.
