ir8x irangex

Got one of these at Christmas time and have finally tried to set it up with an Echine Lizard. To cut a long story short, I reflashed the firmware with deviation-t8sg-v5.0.0-f31c081, the original file in the unit was deviation-t8sg-v5.x.x-2017-09-19. however I noticed that the DFU and the deviation loaders recognised the transmitter as a Devo 7e instead of an ir8 ?

After flashing the transmitter the LCD went black I looked on your forums and some references were made to hardware changes and consequently firmware changes were made. sometime in Jan 2018. So I have two issues. I need a firmware file that will change the contrast on the transmitter to make it readable (it's black at the moment). I also need someone to confirm the firmware file I am using (ts8g...) is the correct firmware for the ir8x. Is it possible to get a copy of the t8sg-v5.x.x-2017-09-19 from an archive?
