DEVO12S can't bind with reciever RX1202 was created by Berryman
I have just puchased the Walkera Devo12s and i can't get it to bind with my RX1202 reciever no matter what i try, i can put the bind p[lug in and erase the info but then i can;t get it to bind to the reciever. Cananyone give me a fool proof why to get this done because i don't want to have to buy a new transmitter.

FYI, My RX1202 is very broken. It will not rebind no matter what I try. Luckily I know what fixed ID it is bound to, so I can still use it, but only in 8-channel mode. I think Walkera messed up the firmware on this one as lots of people have had difficulty with this specific Rx.

Hi Guys, not sure if this would apply to the RX1201, but it does work on the RX801 and RX802 (and the RV2702 for the V450)....
The ID on the RX does not clear if you put the bind plug into the battery (BAT) 3 pin connector on the RX (as the manuals state you should).
Plug it into either AUX 2 or AUX3, both cleared the ID after power up - the red LED then starts flikkering slowly.
Maybe it is the same on the RX1201?
Note: Why Walkera says use the BAT connection to clear the ID I don't understand - normally there is no connection to the 3rd pin on the Battery connector, only + and - power is connected..

I did sucessfully bind mine by
-setting fixed-id = none (clear field with del) in the devo12
-power the rx1202 from the aux port below the batt conector
-push the re-init button on the devo12 and wait
Then always power off / on rx AND devo because it will re-bind each power cycle.

I was able to bind my RX1202, but the range was only about 20% of what it should be. I haven't tried changing the ID but I agree that this is not Walkeras best attempt at an RX. I'm sticking with the 802's until I really need more than 8 channels and then I'll get a 10. (Or PB will make is so we can use two 8's for 16 channels... )
