There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.

I don't think you need to connect it to the RX at all. I haven't got one yet. I think $50 is a little much for telemetry now that a lot of RX's have some basic telemetry built in.
Anyway, from what I can see all you need to do is supply it power. You can do that in a number of ways, but I guess the easiest would be to run a female-female servo cable between the RX and the telemetry unit. But you can/should remove the signal wire and just have the red and black wires.
Let us know how it works out. I'm interested in this as well.
Cheers

Thank you very much for reply. My doubts are, that i can not connect the cable to rx, because the free (rest) of connections to have no power (Walkera RX2703H-D)

Hi Hexperience, you wrote: "I don't think you need to connect it to the RX at all."
And: "run a female-female servo cable between the RX and the telemetry unit."
That is a contradiction

Right, sorry. I meant that there is no data connection required. But that you could get power from the rx. I'm very surprised to hear there is no power on the unused ports on the rx.
Another way to get power would be to use a y split cable on the esc to get power into the telemetry unit.

Just coming back here to update, I now have two of the walkera telemetry units. I only buy them when they are on sale somewhere, but I thought about it a bit more and compared it to what spektrum is doing for telemetry and I don't think it's that bad a deal. Compared to Frsky, which has voltage built in, yes, it's a pain. But compared to the telemetry modules and expense of spektrum I'm not unhappy.
And they work perfectly by the way. Because I get alerted to voltage rather than a timer, I found I can get 11 minute flights on my v450d03 with the battery I have. And still leave 3.6v per cell.
PS. Don't you love it when you are google'ing something and it brings you back to your own posts...

I'm afraid, that you can't put telemetry data on the main page...

You can add a box, and then assign it to display TelemV1, TelemV2, TelemV3, TelemT1, TelemT2, TelemT3, TelemT4, TelemRPM1, or TelemRP2. No GPS Data though.
