I can't change the MODEL on my 8s! was created by Rain4LA
For some reason, it's just stuck on MCPX. I don't know what's going on. It's like the top of my touchscreen where the model name goes is completely dead. Which brings me to a second question - are the buttons supposed to work with Deviation? The only times that mine work are when I'm either upgrading the firmware (EXT) or in USB mode (ENT) So I can't just use the buttons instead of my touchscreen if the screen isn't working?
Thanks for you help! I appreciate it...

Just want to add that I tested the touchscreen and that area works. I just can't get it out of MCPX. I even re-upgraded the firmware again.

Okay, I feel like an idiot. I figured out how to unlock my buttons, duh... So I was able to change models, but I still don't get why I can't change it with my touchscreen.
But thank you!

you can recalibrate the touchscreen if it doesn't respond properly.
you can also click on the model icon, go right one page, and then click 'Load' to change models (identical to clicking the model name)
