it seems to be uploaded today, after upgrading finished, I found my DEVO7E can not bind with my reciever(DEVO RX1002), then I return it to official firmware, it works: bind ok.

I have not test any other reciever (because I haven't now).

Does anyone test? or can I burn any other firmware for a test?

Is your RX binded on your Devo7e deVention with a fixed Id ? If yes, I think you've to manually 're'bind it with deViation...

(I never though that a 10 channels devo RX could bind with a 7 channels Devo TX with deVention?)

Can you verify that you have not setup 'Fixed ID' at original firmware Tx?

hi, domcars and vlad_vy, thanks for reply

1. About issue RX10CH with TX7CH...... it do work when the DEVO7E has an official firmware ver0.1, and I just buy them together ^_^

2. I use a bind-plug clear the FIXED-ID in the RX before binding operation.

Do you use 'protocol' folder from the same .zip file (build)? File .dfu and 'protocol' folder have to be from the same build.

Theres a check implemented now so if the wrong protocol files are used you get a warning.

Replied by PhracturedBlue on topic Why deviation-devo7e-b1b5bcecde6b.zip doesn't work
does it work if you clear the fixed-id from the tx and the rx and let it do binding during power-on?

Yes, I just try a wrong version protocol and got a warning dialog:

so I'm using the correct protocols.

I have try and confirm the problem is just like you say!

when I set a FIXED-ID, it can not bind with RX anyway:

Then I clear the FIXD-ID, the caption of BIND button changed to 'Re-Init', when pressed, RX bind OK and work well~

I have also try AUTO-BIND on boot, it work well too.

So the problem seems to be a little BUG of FIXED-ID.

Did you well put the short wire strap on the RX when you change the fixed ID?

re: domcars0

no, I just plug the shorter and poweron RX, when RX LED flash slowly (indicate ID in RX is cleared), I have removed the shorter (BIND Plug), then turn on TX to operate...

In a word, in my test, every time I want to make a binding, a clear operate is always be done in RX, and "NONE-ID" is ok but "FIXED-ID" will fail.
