V939 Module for FlySky/Huban/etc. protocols?

As far as I can tell, any transmitter that can bind a v911 can bind a v939 and vice versa, but the v939 Tx module doesn't look like the one in the v911 Tx. Given that I have 3 v939 tx's and one v911 one, I'd much rather sacrifice the v939 Tx. So...

Anyone know if this will or won't work already?

If not, then the attached image is of the top side of the module. The labels on the pins (from the board the module came off of)
A: 3.3V, B: GND, C: GPIO, D: SDIO, E: SCK, F: SCS

While you can't make it out on the photo, the chip on the board is labelled (as best I can make out)

AMP33047

Given that information, can anyone tell if this module could be used in lieue of the the v911 module? Or that it can't? Or that it might be?

Anyone willing to try making it work if I mail them the module?

While I haven't done it myself, it should work just fine.
You need to hookup all pins except gpio. Make sure you get the order right.

Yesterday, I installed the module from V929 TX.

It is like yours, works like a charm.

You'll feel all your mini quads different, more connected :D

Be careful when soldering there isn't much place on the devo module header.

Use the finest tip you have, mine is "quite large" and I shorted 2 pins in the process, needles to say it was a pain to remove.

Considering they're all flying on open9x instead of the RTF Tx's now, I suspect it's not as much a difference as you're expecting. But I would like to get everything on one Tx, and the T9X doesn't do Walkera telemetry.

Yep, I assumed you were flying with the rtf tx.

Does open9x support hubsan protocol ?

If so care to provide a link, I have a friend who would be very interested.

He just flown his X4 with my devo10 this afternoon and he was sold :)

But if he can use his 9x it would be better, he won't have to buy a devo 10 for the time being, but maybe latter this year.

Thank you.

looks like they have changed the X4 and so our Deviation doesn't support the latest Hubsan now...

I have been using v939 tx module in DEVO 10 for a while and it seems to be working just fine.
And as far I can tell, the tx module seems to be identical (at least for the part number) in both remotes (the remotes are quite different). Though they could have changed the design later.

Maybe. I've seen some claims that it can be done, but no instructions no how. It may also require buying a hubsan-compatible JR module. And note cmpang's comment that they may have changed the protocol on newer versions!
