Reversed Pitch on Devo 8S

I use to fly helos like the big ones with reversed pitch - climbing when pulling the stick.
I already own some other transmitters, two 2801, a DX-7 and a J6 (Nine Eagles). On each of them I swapped the throttle potentiometer connections, some had to be soldered, some were plugged.
OK, now I am in two minds how to process with the Devo 8S.
I already had tried two solutions :
1. Reversed throttle in the throttle channel which enables to program "normal" throttle curves. But every time I switch the radio on it is nagging that throttle is on 100%.
2. The other way is to program "reversed" throttle curves without getting the nagging mentioned above. But I don't like reversed curves.
So I think the only satisfying way is again to open the radio and swap the potentiometer connections.
What would you suggest ?

(click the heli icon->arrow right)
Where it says Model Type: Helicopter, click the word Helicopter.
There you can set up the swash type, inversions and mixes.. Though truth be told, I'm not sure what inverting those do.. So take what I say with a grain of experimental salt.

At your model file 'modelX.ini'
[safety]
Auto=min - change to Auto=max

Thanks a lot !
But that opens another question - how to edit the ini-files comfortable. Using the Windows Editor offers a quite curious stuff.
@DarkWolf
Seems to be another way to go, but I would like to avoid reversing operations inside menus wherever I can. Think I'll open the radio.

edit :
Opened the radio and swapped the throttle-potentiometer connectors. Now I can use "normal" ini-files.
At this occasion I swapped both D/R switches with T/H and Flightmode so I can reach Throttle-Hold and Flight-Mode-Switch much better

It's Linux safe, multi tabbing and very useful, indeed.

+1 on this, it doesn't screw up your ini files
