V400D02 - can't adjust rudder gyro on Devo8S was created by Gerhard_H

Laid rudder gyro on channel 5 via Mixer switch. Channel 5 because the V400 tx has only 6 channels, channel 6 is pitch. Mixer switch values are +80 0 -80. No matter what I switch it doesnt change anything.
The heli flies stable with a light counterclockwise drift which it didn't before (Walkera 2801); swapped rear motor for a new one but was in vain.
Some advice ?

You can try enable 8 channel mode at Tx and use ch7 for Gyro. I think Deviation always use at least 8 channels by default, even if you select 6ch mode. Walkera Rx at case 8ch mode may use ch7 for Gyro.

Have had 8 channels on tx and gyro at ch 7 - same problem. So I tried 6ch tx and ch 5 for gyro . . .
