When I select 150mw power out on my Devo 6 is it actually outputting 150mw?
Is there some attenuation in the stubby antenna.

I think what I'm really asking is the range the same as my Devo 8 on 150mw?

go check the FCC website on the power output. I think the Devo6 is very close to the devo8 in power. Neither will likely actually achieve 150mW as this would be pushing the power-amp at about its limit and there is quite a bit of falloff up there.

Just to satisfy my curiosity I'll do a range check to compare the two tansmitters.

I have not checked the Devo6 at the time, but here is a previous post with the links to the FCC site for the other TX's

Thanks for the link RM. I knew it must have been discussed before. Someone said that the range of the Devo 6s is 600 M, if it's true I think that's a pretty good range. That's a long Par 5, and farther than I can see.
