replacement stock 2.4 module was created by airheli1201
Hi all.
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a replacement for the stock 2.4 module.
The reason I am asking is because as I was doing the increase range mod, I messed up in the process. I basically burnt one of the the connection point of the diode so solder no longer flows ( I think I was able to connect two point but am not certain, as it's hard to see) on it as well as destroyed the resister beside due to my soldering iron being too close.
However, I am still able to control bind and control my model. I am relived of that but don't want to rick losing control of the model in the air trying it out.
Anyone advise me?
Many thanks in advance!

I think he wants to install it into a devo7e.
Yes it will work. There was a discussion on these forums about doing it a couple months ago, it is not too hard to do.

Also, you'll need to get an antenna wire since the module doesn't come with one.
Something like this will work well with the stock antenna tube:
www.ebay.com/itm/FrSky-2-4-Ghz-400mm-Rx-...&hash=item416b36495b

Thank you for your help.
like you said it did appear in past post. I had to search for WK-21201RF instead of WK-DEVO-S-MOD
For those who are wondering the same thing. The following is
the 8s module pinout (using the numbering in the flysky docs):
1: chip select
2: SCK
3: GND
4: MOSI
5: MISO
6: V+
10:Reset
The Devo7e:
1) Chip Select
2) SCK
3) MISO
4) MOSI
5) Reset
6) V+
7) GND
So happy I can still use this tx. Really love the design and Deviationtx!

Now the question is which direction does the pinout on the devo 8s go?

look at the docs for installing a module on your radio in the 'Downloads' section. You'll find a pic that labels the pins

They're not as nice as Miracle Mart to work with, but they have stock. They're actually owned by Walkera.
Edit: Pfff FDR beat me to it.

Someone had mentioned that Walkera stopped selling these modules and all that is left is unsold stock, as the original purpose was to upgrade Devo8/12 and now that the module has been out for a year or so, they figured everyone who is going to has already done so. That may explain the stock. I don't kow if the above is true or just a rumor.

In order to replace 7e module with 8s's I am going to remove the original one.
But there are unknown soldering spots as below picture in blue circle.
Do these spots have specific purposes or just glue the module?
Please let me know otherwise let me know the whole process of the removing the module.

I think this spots are just for well 'ground' (put a good 0 Volt) the module.
