Simplified Mixer for Sailplane?

Hello together,

Is a simple mixer for sailplane in working progress?

I´ve tried nor for over a week to understand the Mixer GUI.
I´ve resigned now.
I will work aktualy with the org. Firmware and FDR´s Library on my DEVO 12.
It´s for me the best way to fly my models.

But, deviantfx is so an amazing projekt - I will not give up.
But, my hope will not die.

I fly sailplanes up to 4 mtr, and i have absolute no doubt about the tx.

The Widescreen GUI that ive tried from Wene001 is a good solution.
But the mixer´s - i don´t understand.

Are there toughts to create a siple mixer
(similary to the Helicopter section)?

Hi Raimili,

I can understand the mixer could be quite intimidated, but it's also really powerful as it gives you so much freedom on what you can accomplish.

The learning curve could be steep, but it's very logical and once you got the main concepts, the other parts come to light easily.

So if could explain us what you want to do exactly, we could help you come to a solution.

Hi, I'm sure the Advanced mixer cannot be that complicated.

I'll make you a deal:

1. You describe in detail what you need
2. I create a step-by-step tutorial which could then be made available as a sticky for everyone to use.

What do you say?

We can start with the first step: general configuration of your ship, meaning mapping channels to servos and sticks.

Ok, i post the config of my (for me) complicated sailplane:

RX-Basics:

ELEV: Elevator
AIl: AileronR
THRO: ESC-Motor
RUDD: Rudder
GEAR: Gear
AUX1: AileronL
AUX2: SpoilerR
AUX3: SpoilerL

My Wishes:
I fly in Mode1 (AIL/THRO right Side)
Differential of the 2 AIL´s 40% down
AIL to Rudder 100%

3 FMode Modes, switching with the FMode Switch

Start (Switch down),
Soaring (Switch middle,
Landing (Switch high),

Description of the Modes:
Start: AilL&AilR 10% down
Soaring: AilL&AilR 0%
Landing: AILR&AILL 30% down, SPOILERR&SPOILERL 95% up
ELEV 5% up
GEAR goes down
and all this Mod´s slides on and off (1/1) when the Trottle goes from -10- +90%.
For me it´s very,very tricky, maybe I understand the powerfull Mixer by a template - how it works.

I understand throttle controls camber, right?

in Landing mode the situation is as follow:
I will landing - FMode Switch in Landing Mode:

The Throttle is in 0% Position = no Motor will run.
AIl, ELEV, Spoilers goes to the devined Landing Positions.
But when the landing preparedness missmatch, - i must restart.
With the Trottle Stick i will give Motor-Power, but also now all other Positions must return sliding to normal "Soaring" Position.

You are so helpfull...
when I get your Template, i will try to understand the Mixer.
You have all the time you need - tomorrow the weather ssems to be god (i will slope) - but the next (rainy) days a have full time to try to understand..
