How to bind LOSI Micro-Rally 2.4Ghz-BL was created by bmwbiker
Hello,

I'm from Germany and my english is "a bit under the weather".
I'm flying some Walkera-Heils with very easy binding to my Devo8s.
Also I can bind verry easy some E-Flight-Helis and one Horizon-Micro-Plane.
But my new LOSI-Micro-Rally won't bind to Devo ?
The RC in the car is DSM2 , 2.4Ghz but the Devo don't bind in any configs.

I've tested DSM2 with 2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 Channels
and also DSMX with 2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 Channels

Thanks in advance

bmwbiker

Hi,

my english is also very "basic". So it is more easily for me to answer in german ;-).

Ich hab da auch ein bissl rumgetan. Bei mir hat es nicht immer so geklappt:
Bind-plug in den empfänger
Sender an
Bind prozedur im sender einleiten
Warten bis der empfänger dauernd leuchtet
Sender aus
empfänger aus
bind-plug raus
Sender an
Empfänger an

Manchmal musste ich das aber öfter machen...

Was fährst für eine?

Grüße,
Kille

I try my best to translate my german into english.

I have also tried to bind a Orange DSM2 receiver.
My procedure was:
Bind-plug into the RX
TX on
Bind procedure start in the TX
Wait to have a solid light in the RX
TX off
RX off
remove bind-plug
TX on
RX on

Sometimes I have to repeat these steps.

Regards,
Kille

As far as I remember do the aerial and the ground receivers use a different protocol. I have no clue how great this difference will be.
If anyone gets this running this would be great. Kille, did you connect to a ground receiver?

No, I think it was a "normal" rx.

Translation:
I have no idea if it work. Please use Google. There are, rbe2012 wrote this already, different DSM the ground version and non ground version.
Normaly you have to plug the bind-plug into the rx to enable the bind-procedure. The bind-plug is normaly included.

Laut Manual gibt es bei dem nur einen BIND-BUTTON !

In dem Fall geht's halt nicht.
Dann doch mit 2 Sendern hantieren...

Danke für die Hilfe.

Gruß,
bmwbiker

According to the manual, there where only a BIND BUTTON!

So i have to handle with 2 RC's

Thanks for the help.

bmwbiker

Hey guys,
in earlier threads we have already discussed if we want to have sections of the forum in other languages than English. The result was a clear "no".
I personally think it is at least impolite not to try to translate what you have to say to English so all users can read your discussion. Writing longer parts with substantial content excludes many people from participating and helping.
And you can be sure: a lot of people here are no native English speaker so they all have the same difficulties with the English language. But even a poor translation reaches much more people than a discussion in another language.
So I propose that you try to write English. If you want to talk about something what is not of general interest you also have PM as method where you are free to choose the language.

Auch von mir ein Gruß
rbe2012

Do you have tested the binding again?
How do you try this?

Sorry for my late reply.

I bind the Losi like it is shown in the manual.
I press the bind-Button and switch the car on. Then ich power my RC on - but the binding-light in the car don't stop flashing.
I test every channel-Setting with DSM2/DSMX but no binding.
In my opinion there is an other Protocol used by losi.

I gave up and i think the Losi-Controller is ok for driving this little car.

The timing is very important.
After switching on the RC-Car by pressing the bind button, you have to switch on the tx. Than you have to press the bind button in the menu of your tx. Than you have to wait until the light stops blinking. Switch the tx off, switch the rx off.
Switch the tx on, switch the rx on.

It's totally impossible, ground DSM2 protocol is different from air and marine DSM2 protocols.

You can use air DSM2 Tx only with 'marine' DSM2 receivers.
