You are welcome!

It is not ready, because it has a lot of features and settings I know little about...
For example I bearly see what I am typing now, because the font size of this editor is too small!

I'd like to help with development. I've been tinkering with ARM code for >20 years on old-school computers (more recently using gcc too), but no embedded experience. Could I get write privileges so I can contribute to the thread about buddy-boxing.

Thanks for that.

Back on topic, I just noticed everything below the 'Index, topics, ...' menu bar is not resizing correctly on narrow screens like my N900.
I can't scroll to the right, and zooming out clips everything to the width of the menu bar. Not a big issue, but perhaps worth mentioning.

So how about a new category for allowing user's to upload their model files and templates.
I was thinking that rather than keep them on the download page, we setup a category for models where users can describe the model and its configuration.

I'd expect to set some basic rules (one model file per post, and always in the 1st post). and a clear description in the title to make searching easier.

Thoughts?

I can't make different restrictions per category, I'm afraid, but it isn't that important.
The general upload rules will apply...

You may want to add a "Feature Request" section to the list. You can bet that once the first version is released you'll get tons of these scattered all over the forums. Might be useful to a have them all in one place.

Another thing I noticed while following the progress of the project and reading the forums pretty much daily is that the host is quite often unavailable. I started noticing it about 2 weeks ago then it got better last week and since a couple days it has been getting worse again. For example it has been impossible for me to reach the website last night (France local time) at all. Today the host was unavailable for some time between 9 and 10PM. Might be due to server load if it's shared hosting ?

I am just mentioning it so you'd be aware of it and because I mostly see between 3 and 10 concurrent users on the forums at the moment but you are bound to get A LOT MORE traffic after release. Little load now and some issue, much more upcoming load, will it be OK?

I think the feedback forum will do for now, but if there will be too much such request, we may open a new forum for them...

I know.

MatCat is promising a server extension, so it will handle better...
