Hello
Is it possible to have a Devo 7E and a Devo 10 bound to the same DSM2 reciever?

I just received my devo 10, but it seems im going to have to go through the full bind procedure to get it to work with my rx. I though all the relevant bind information was stored in the model files?

I would love if i wouldn't have to go through all that hassle every time i swap between transmitters. My rx is stuffed fairly far into the frame so its a pita to get the wires out of it and then pulling it out.

Hi,
I think you have to use the automatic bind (not the fixeId).

[EDIT]Oups sorry, don't see that your RX is not a Walkera but a DSM2, so I've no solution.

Devo 10 (+7e) owner. It's mine, please don't touch it with your big fingers

It's impossible, bind packet contains unique Tx ID.

Any way to have the same unique Tx ID on 2 different deviation tx'es?
Im guessing it should be possible with minor code changes?

Unless the tx id is stored inside the wifi modules, and are added there.

Partially true: the ID is indeed comes from the RF chip, but the fw reads it and sends out at binding, so in theory you could set whatever ID you like.
There was a discussion about that already...
While it has some security risk, it is doable: for example the tx's ID could be overriden with an optional ID from the tx.ini...

Posted at the same time heh,
FDR, would it be much work to add that functionality?
Though i'd rather have it in the model file, then the TX ini.

Edit: actually that would be fairly bad for those that share confighs. Tx ini for the id and a on/off in the model ini would be best.

I guess it's not that hard...

I wouldn't bother with it in every model config however. If you have two transmitters, set one of them to the ID of the other, and you can use those model configs on both of them, which share the same fixed id...

Would there be any issue if both tx'es were used with the same id, but different protocols?
