DEVO8S + RX802 and TRex 450 Pro. HELP ! was created by Richard
Hello,
I can not program my radio to fly my helicopter.
Radio: DEVO 8S (mode 2) + RX802
Heli T-REX 450 Pro flybarred.
When I single parameter controls, they are functioning properly.
Ail operates on AIL + Chan6 (reverse),
Elev operates on Elev,
Throt operates on throttle, and
rudder operates on rudder.
But as soon as I put the cyclic parameters (3 servo 120), servo move anyhow. Elev operates on ELEV + Chan 6, AIL operates on ELEV and AIL only not on Chan 6, etc.
Only the rudder function properly.
Is it possible that there is an incompatibility with the RX802?
The "cyclic 1, 2 and 3" are they routine in the firmware? Will it a bug?
What is "cyclic 1", "2 cyclic" and "cyclic 3 ' respectively ? Pitch? Roll? Collective?
From what I'm told,
CYC-AIL operates on 2 servo : "AIL (Ch2)" and "canal6" in reverse mode,
CYC-ELE operates on 3 servo : "ELE" and "AIL" + "Chan6". If "ELE" increases, "AIL" + "Chan6" decreases a little and vice versa.
CYC-COL actuates the 3 servo identically. If UP, all servo UP.
Is this correct?
I want to understand.
Please, help me.
Thank you.
Sorry for my English but I use google translator, my English is very poor.

As a starting point try to load the 6ch heli template into an empty model slot, and make sure the reverses are right...

Thanks very much !
It works !
But I have a question.
There is no 'source' for the "Chan6" except "cyclic3".
Does it say that the association "Chan6 & AIL" is made in the "cyclic3" and "cyclic2" routines ?
An other question.
Can I use the USB connection on my radio instead of training port to operate in a flight simulator?

The calculation also need some inputs: the pure aileron, elevator and pitch values, which are supplied to the CCPM throw three specific virtual channels: CYC-AIL, CYC-ELE and CYC-COL.
The calculation itself is a bit complex, but you can fine tune it with some simple values on the Helicopter page...

The "Cyclic1", "Cyclic2" and "Cyclic3" are the outputs (i.e. results) of the CCPM calculation. These values are sent to the appropriate channel for the swash servos.Richard wrote: But I have a question.

Only with the latest nightly builds. The v3.0.0 doesn't support it.Richard wrote: An other question.
