Right now I'm not happy with Deviation. For twice made me lost a model because a reboot in flying. The first time seems I touch the screen with the belt of the TX, but I wasn't sure; I lost a foamy airplane. But today I was flying a trex 500 fuselage helicopter, and while I was flying, first I loose control on the helicopter, and then I heard the start noise on my the DEVO 8s... But the TX restart on a diferent configuration (not my helicopter, a previous model) and I have a serious crash. The voltage of the recharged battery was 4.55V, I think isn't a low battery problem. What do you thing?

Sorry for your 500.
I also do not think that a discharged battery was the cause. Before it will power off the tx it will warn you (should work even in 2.1.1) - and it will not reboot automatically.
Good idea that you filed a ticket at bitbucket...

To be on the safer side, I suggest to use the latest release, because in that a lot of bugs are already fixed, which were present in the previous releases.
ATM the unofficial nightly build seems even safer then the v3...

I have serious doubts about my devo 8s. My tx isn't labeled 1.A, 1.B, and is impossible to install corretly the Deviation 3.0.0, because in this case appears corrupted data on the labels. Then I tried the nighlty builts and the result is different, but bad: the only thing I can see is the wallpaper without any data. Is it possible my Devo 8s have any hardware problem?

Thank you very much!

Try to download and copy the filesystem again.
You can try to reformat the USB drive before copying the filesystem too, if that was not enough...

FDR was faster.
It is probably a problem of an incorrect file system - the fonts and images are not found.
Remember the filesystem structure - copy the content of filesystem/devo8 to your tx (media, models, tx.ini...).

Can you link me where can I find the lib archive. I forget where is it. I installed the lib fo the deviation 1.0.0, the only I found in the Donwloads. And now the result is worst.

There is no lib.
The filesystem is a zip file, the content of which you should copy to the formatted USB drive of the tx.

This is the v3.0.0:
www.deviationtx.com/repository/Deviation...fs-devo8-v3.0.0.zip/

...and this one is for the nightly build:
www.deviationtx.com/repository/Deviation...-v3.0.0-c960b8e.zip/

Remember to copy only the contents of the filesystem/devo8/ directory, not the filesystem directory itself...

I'm very gratefull!! Now is running perfect. I forget to replace the file system, and for this reason don't run corretly. Thanks for wasting time with me. Do you think is more safety the nightly builts? I usually flys fuselage helicopter, and for me the safety is the most important thing. In the last crash I lost 500 euros... And the last quetion; What can i do with the file devo8.efl?

Thank you very much!

I think the current nightly build should be more stable, then the v3.0.0 is, because there are improvements in it for example in the devo protocol's code.
This nightly is rather old, it's from mid august.
When the code changes fast, it wouldn't be the case...

Of course nobody can guarantee, that there will be no bugs, no reboots, whatsoever...
One important thing to counteract reboots is to turn off the tx between flights, because most of the reboots occured after a prolonged use...
BTW I feel for your lost.

The .elf file needed along with the errors.txt to determine the cause of a reboot, so please keep the .elf file of your installed version to help us to fight those bugs.

The last question. What can I do to install the .elf file? With the dfuse, or move to the file system?

No, you don't need to install the .elf file, just keep it on your computer, so you could post it with the errors.txt if something goes wrong...

I already installed the 3.0.0 nightly builts, and seems very stable.
Today I made the first test with my Multiplex FunCub using the model configuration of the 2.1.1. In my plane I have two channels for the flaps. On the second flight I saw the switch of the flaps seems not running correctly; sometimes run, and sometimes not. I stop the flight and trim one of the flaps. And until this moment the flaps don't run correctly on the TX, and run like a two position switch with with the FMOD three position swicht. I tried with another plane, and the result is the same; sometimes runs and sometimes not; and at the end just run like a two position swicht. I attached the configuration, if the problem is the configuration:

I've done, and the result is the same. Always I have the same problem, on the same channels 6-7. Maybe when I have the reboot happen a hardware problem, and until this moment the TX didn't run correctly. I check with a diferent versions of Deviation, and the result is exactly the same. I also reprogramed the TX and always the same. I'm thinking to buy the Devo 12S...

As I can see,
Ch6 at first mixer page has switch MIX0, at second FMODE0, at third FMODE1,
Ch7 at first mixer page has switch FMODE0, at second FMODE1, at third FMODE2.

Possible it has to be
Ch6 at first mixer page has switch FMODE0, at second FMODE1, at third FMODE2,
Ch7 at first mixer page has switch FMODE0, at second FMODE1, at third FMODE2.

Also, both channels have different scales and limits, at channel properties.
