WOULD DEVIATION HELP

I'm using a Devo 10 to drive my hex-a-copter. On the Devo 10 there is a function called "Flight Switch" which can be assigned to one of the two 3-position switches.

But I want both 3-position switches for my camera gimbal. The programing forces me to have one of them be the "Flight Switch". I don't even understand why I need a "Flight Switch". It starts the props rotating or speeds them up if they are already rotating.

Would Deviation allow me to use those two switches for my camera gimbal and maybe not even have a "Flight Switch" or at least assign it to one of several 2-position switches I'm not using?

Coffee is the only thing you can't do with deViation!

Says who, going into TH (throttle hold switch = 1) means I stopped flying and then switches the coffee machine on.

Thanks for the replies. I am going to install Deviation 1.7 into my Devo 10, yes (Win7)? And I should have coffee BEFORE I start, right?

You may want to fiddle with the emulator on the pc first to get familiar with the functions and setting model files up. read the manual on how to install correctly and get into this. Personally I would rather go with version 3.0 at least or rather the nightlies which currently seem quite stable.

I think JH meant dFuse 1.7 - might not work with Win7 in some cases (1.5 does).

I recommend to use the nightly.

JH, make sure you have your coffee ready when starting, you will have no time to cook... And when you are done, deviation will keep you awake so you don't need coffee anymore...
