is this a minor error/bug? was created by Birdman
I am in the process of setting up a 4ch electric plane. While doing the aileron expo/dr on fmode switch i found that fmode0 and fmode1 are reversed. In other words the settings entered in sw fmode0 are effected when sw is in position fmode1 and visa versa. I have temporarily overcome this by entering settings for fmode0 in fmode1 and visa versa. Ele and rud ch ok.
Also a possible small spelling error in manual:
Curve Editing, 2nd paragraph, 2nd line, "difference" should read "different".

I don't have a 7E, so I can't check for sure, but I don't think it is a fw bug, since there are many people with 7E, who don't have a propblem.
However I do remember someone, who had one switch reversed in his 7E, but I don't remember if it was the FMODE or the other.
So I think it is rather aa assembly QC issue, so you probably have to turn the switch or resolder the wire to the other end...

My bad, should have said i'm using an 8s.
Not switch. As already mentioned, rudder and elevator are fine.
Must be something i have done. Will try new model setup, should tell me.
Thanks

My bad. Since you mentioned only FMODE0 and FMODE1, I thought it must be the 7E, because that is the only one with a two state FMODE switch...
Post your model.ini, then we can see if there is something wrong.

I would need to do some homework before i could post a model ini.
No need though, i just found problem.
I setup a new model and all was good, so as i suspected it must have something i had done. Although i'm not sure it should happen all the same.
When in expo/dr window i noticed (sorry my eyes aren't what they used to be)there was a exclamation mark in front of FMODE1 in switch 1 box. When i clicked box exclamation went away and fixed problem. If i click box exclamation mark and problem return.
When mark is there fm0 and fm1 are reversed.
So, problem solved, but what is exclamation mark? and what does it do?
Thanks

I see that an exclamation mark appears in front of ch on mixer page when it is reversed.

!SW0 = not SW0 = SW1 or SW2
!SW1 = not SW1 = SW0 or SW2
!SW2 = not SW2 = SW0 or SW1

No, it was just an explanation.
Exclamation mark means negation. You can negate any switch or source.
In case of three state switches it works like Vlad explained, i.e. if you set !FMODE0, it will be true for FMODE1 and FMODE2 but not for FMODE0...
