hi guys good day... what should i need to make my devo 7e use as simulator control? do i need to buy any usb dongle to connect in my pc? i have windows vista laptop. thanks everybody.

Hi !
Well first thing it depends on what Simulator you intend to use. Most of them will require a dongle, but on some occasion you might be able to plug directly the cable in the line in jack of your computer.

I use such a dongle with PPM out. But I know the actual deviation has a USD HID where the tx can be used like a USB joystick, but I never tried this. You can select this in the protocol section (where you will find PPM out too).

I tried USB HID with my Devo8. It took some time to figure out how the inputs have to be assigned to the channels but it works without any problems. I used ClearView and EasyFly3.
I confess I am not sure if it is already implemented in deviation 3.0. It is included in the last nightlies and in the 3.1-beta-versions.
