Dfuse 2.0 does not recognize Devo 7E was created by Kramard
Hi guys,
First of all, a huge thank you. The Nano flies very nice on the Devo 7E.
I'd like to go back to the stock firmware for a few days (to use my TX in Phoenix; Phoenix does not recognize the TX with deviation) however my Dfuse is not seeing the TX.
When the TX is in USB mode I don't see Vendor ID, Product ID or Version populated. Am I doing something incorrectly? I've researched switching back and understand I have to go through the library tab to upgrade but can't click upgrade as the TX is not being recognized.
Any help would be great. Thanks! Dave

You have to press a button or something (don't know what to do for Devo7e; for Devo8 press EXT, for Devo12 switch TRN) to get into the dfu mode (the same sa you had to do when installing deviation).
With the nightly builds (or 3.1-beta) you can use Phoenix:
Simply create a new model, select "PPM out" as protocol and use Phoenix with the usual adapter. Or select "USB HID" and connect the tx via USB and you will have a USB joystick (I have tested this with ClearView and EasyFly).

Hm. I got nothing..
Just to make sure I'm following the right steps...
1) Turn transmitter on in USB mode
2) Press a specific button to toggle dfu mode (not at the same time as entering USB mode)
None of the switches, buttons or trims activate DFU mode.
Sorry for the continued questions

Press and hold 'EXT' then switch on Tx. This puts you in DFU mode.
Press and hold 'ENT' then switch on Tx. This enables USB Flash drive.
FYI you will see 'DFU mode' on screen. If your not you have another issue. And we need more info on what you have done with Tx.
Problem with windows seeing you Tx when in 'DFU' try another USB port.
So in 'DFU' Tx powered up still not seen. Leave powered and connected. You'll need to open windows 'Device manager'. Tip: Click Start/Right click 'Computer' Select 'Properties' then select 'Device manager.
Now in the right click any device listed and 'Scan for new device' Hopefully it will popup. Still not working while in device manager check the USB section near bottom. One of the USB/PCI controllers may have been disabled its self. When that happens to me I've put a dead short on my USB ....whoops
