V450D01/RX2703H-D + DEVO8S setup issue was created by Juan99
Hi everyone!
I'm new to this hobby and still have to learn a lot!
My DEVO8S runs Deviation 3.0.0 (latest nightly build)with the advanced GUI.
So far, I've been impressed with Deviation!
I ran into a strange problem (for me...)while trying to setup my Tx for the Walkera V450D01 with RX2703H-D. I used this model config: deviationtx.com/media/kunena/attachments/336/model9.ini
When I tried it on my heli the elevator inputs on the Tx stick seems to act as a collective on the swashplate. And the throttle (collective) inputs tilts the swash like a elevator.
I checked all servo connections to the Rx multiple times. My Tx is on mode 2.
When I change it to Mode 1 everything seems to work ok...
There must be a simple solution for this, but I can't find it now...
I made a config from scratch for Phoenix and it runs flawless.
It's quite similar to the config above..
Hope you guys can help me out!

Have you tried this setup ever before with a stock Devo?
Are the wires on the RX are put into the right place? The reason because I ask is, because there is a bug in the Manual that will cause this behaviour because 2 Servos are on the wrong position on the RX.
(sorry for my bad english)

No, I did not try this setup with the stock DEVO. I've rebuild the heli and connected the servo's on the RX according to the manual...
So this could be the solution.
I'll try to swap the elevator and pitch.
Edit: that didnot help... Can someone tell me which servo need to be connected to which RX channel?
Thanks Adriaan. (I guess you are Dutch, right? I am)

Sorry, its too long ago, i switched over to a microbeast and sold my rx2703h-d.
But there are only 3 servos to be switched, so its a very limited number of varietys
On my Beast its connected (seen from behind)
Pitch Aile
Elevator

Which 450d01 are you using ? If it's the new version is totally different configuration . On the receiver and the temp plate you are using . I'm new to this and I'm trying to learn my self .if you need a picture with the receiver and the servos connected I have both version .

I fixed it.
Turnes out the pitch and aileron are switched in the manual...
I trusted the manual too much I guess.
Thanks Adriaan and Diaz.

The pitch and aileron servos are wired in the manual for mode 1. If you use a mode 2 TX you have to swap them around.
