Devo 6S won't bind with OrangeRX RX3S was created by Sprocket
Hello,

I've been trying to get my Devo 6S to bind with an OrangeRX RX3S but I can't get it to work. The TX set up to use DSM2 and fixed ID is removed.

This is what I do:
1. Plug in the bind plug
2. Power on the TX
3. Plug in the battery, RX LED blinks rapidly
4. Press bind, RX LED blinks then goes solid
5. Unplug the battery and bind plug
6. Reconnect the battery.

At this point I think everything should work but no controls are responding.

Can someone help me out?

I have successfully bound two RX3s in DSM2 mode.
The way you described is the same I went. But after reconnecting the battery you have to bind again, as far as I remember. There is no auto-binding. When you have set a new fixed ID autobind will work.

I can't get it to work using a fixed ID either. I've tried setting one before beginning and before reconnecting the battery. I am still unable to bind.

I´ve found what the problem was. It turns out I had simply plugged in the ESC connector the wrong way.

I´m sorry guys. I didn't know that the RX would do anything when the power was flipped.

Don't worry - we all have made such errors. Be glad that the receiver did not smoke away...
