I've been trying for a while to get this to work, about ready to give up in frustration and buy another DX6i. Normal mode in FM0 works fine, I can't get my IU1 to work right... I'm not getting any negative pitch... It works just fine flying real models though.

I guess I wasn't clear... I'm using FM0 as a normal flight mode, and FM1 as idle up with a fixed throttle and full positive and negative pitch.

Maybe a silly question, but you don't try with FMOD0?
The config seems ok for the Nano.

FMOD0 works fine. I can't get FMOD1 to work as Idle Up 1 even though my helis fly fine in FM1, I don't get negative pitch in Phoenix with it.

Re-Calibrate the controller in Phoenix while you are on FMOD1. If you calibrated with reduced ranges/scale or dual rates on, then then you won't get full scale ranges later.

I tried resetting it, screwed it up even worse. Before it was acting like a V curve with only negative pitch, now it's acting incredibly weird.

The best I could get was loading my DX6i profile using my 6s, my pitch finally worked... had to reverse the channel though... Now it's acting like there is no 0 pitch and it just ping pongs... ugh. I guess I'll have to try setting the pitch curve to a U shape... I dunno.

Not sure I can even trust my controller flying anymore...

It difficult to help any further without seeing the profile and models on both sides

You mentioned you "reset" it, that is good, but you have to calibrate the Phoenix controller profile with full ranges/scale on your TX. I am 100% sure his was your original problem with FMOD0 working but not FMOD1, although FMOD1 was working on your heli.

I'd recommend building a brand new model in the Tx with everything mapped 1-to-1 and then calibrating Pheonix with that.
Then switch back to your real model, go to the calibration page and makesure the channels are working as expected.
