Linear Throttle and Pitch Curve was created by Tom Z
When you make a Throttle or Pitch Curve that is linear 0-25-50-75-100 do you want to assign Multi-points to it? Example: 3, 5, 7, 9 or 13
Or does applying Multi-points only apply if you make a curved Throttle or Pitch Curve?
And if you don't use Multi-points on a linear curve should you use Curve: 1-to-1?

Tom,
If you are using linear curves, always remember K.I.S.S. There is no need to clutter up a model with points if you are truly going for linear. Don't forget you can also scale and offset linear without going to the trouble of manually calculating what the middle points should be.

What about this?
Normal Pitch curve 7 point.
Stunt 1 & 2 are linear but used 7 points on them also.
Normal mode
-30,-20,-10,0,33,66,100
Stunt 1 & 2
-100,-66,-33,0,33,66,100
Would it also be correct to make Stunt 1 & 2 a Curve: 1-to-1 instead of a 7 point?

Hi Tom,
as I am new to deviation and even relatively new in the RC hobby I may be false here.
Technicaly you could pick a 1-to-1 curve as well as a 7-point.
I think this depends on the possible "future" of the curve.
If you intend to tweak the curve in the future to something non linear the 7-point curve may be better, if you think it will always be linear, then 1-to-1 is the better choice.
If you change the curvetype you have to enter every value again, as deviation does not calculate your 7-point curve from the values of the existing 1-to-1.
BTW:
I picked one of your models and tweeked the pitch curve to something very nonlinear

Hi,
I like having all three curves 7-point but was wondering if using
1-to-1 instead for the linear curves only was OK or not and it sounds like it is OK. So normal curve would be a 7-point curve and the stunt modes (linear) would be 1-to-1.
It sounds like I can use either method. Either all three modes 7-point or one 7-point and two 1-to-1.

Yes, but I personally like it more, all three curves beeing the same type.

Same here. I am going to keep doing it that way, all three curves beeing the same type.
