350qx ESC Init and motor assignment

I recently replaced an ESC in my 350QX, which meant the FC wanted to be able to be told where the ESC's where so it could init them properly. To do this, you get the 350QX into bind mode (or not), then have your transmitter bind with the throttle held high.

Didn't work with DeviationTx (not yet on 4.0). Some of the other odd bind things (disable GPS in particular) worked fine. I borrowed a Spektrum transmitter, and things worked fine.

Note that I'm using a model that came from here, and needed to toggle the "init" switch in that template to get the throttle output to respond at all. However, that didn't fix the issue.

Anyone got any thoughts on how this might be fixed? Or maybe whether it should be?

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.

First thing to do is move to 4.x. You will be able to get more help and it is infinitely more stable than 3.x.

After that see if the behavior is still the same.
