Could you confirm that you are using DEVO protocol with your Super CP ?

THANKS for your help. Now it is working. I did what you said, to look at model config. I load TOM Z standard and it bind with devo protocol, swash react normaly didn't fly it again.

My knowledge in software is very very low. I retired 17 years ago at 53, it was the beginning of instrumentation with CPU

Thanks again

Robert

If you put your model config here I will give it a try

It's the Tom Z one :D

www.deviationtx.com/forum/model-configs/...rs-3d-settings#19194

I just deleted the Fmode2 since devo7e only has Fmode1, adapted expo to my liking, also power reduced to 10mw, no need of 100mw to fly a micro.

Also dual rates are tied to the 3 way switch I added.

THANKS you for your advice. I load TOM Z model ini and it bind, swash react normaly, will fly it soon

I tough that with the standard gui (like Spektrum...) I can configure it. Didn't know that we have to make a model.ini file.

Thanks again for your help

This is the model file I'm using (adapted from Tom's one), remember it's for 7E and I made the 1-3way switch mode. The layout is from waldo's config.

Thanks, I downloaded it, will look at it later. I have a lot of reading to do before I can unsderstand it. (will ask my son if he can help me undestand it or point me where to look to study it, he is a software engineer)

Robert

I start to play with it, I can modify the model.ini from the Tx menu. I understand know why Harry said it will give me something to start with. A lot easier for me. Won't need my son

I should have play with it more before saying that we can adjust the parameter from the TX

Anyway, my Super CP is tune at my liking for know

I am working on the Genius CP with WK2801 protocol and I would like to adjust the gyro sens (gain) before replacing the tail motor. I lost lot of time because I didn't write WK before 2801

Where should I look to adjust the gain ?

Robert

Sorry to ask for it, I have found it in channel7, it is adjusted at 64 and Tom Z says it is equal at 82 in WK world. Will try to play with it but i think my tail motor is gone.

Hi All,

This topic is getting pretty long and I can't see where the original problem is fixed.

Well, I now have a Devo 12 radio. Finished setup of Deviation 4.0.1 and copied my models over.

I copied my Walkera 4G3 model from the Devo 7e to the Devo 12.

The protocol selected is WK2801, no fixed ID #. When I turn 'on' the Devo 12, the Bind/Re-init screen comes up and binds to the old Walkera 4G3. I would think this is the desired operation.

The Devo 7e does not do this with the 4.0.1 software. I have a single 3 pos switch installed. Is there a build of the software that now works properly?

Thanks to all!

The build on the first post, I am using the one just before and for me it works with the 2401 proto, didn't test with 2801 tough , but I think that Harry did (if I'm not mistaken).

The nightlies should work to.

The 2401 and 2601 both bind on startup for me too..

Please test the 2801 protocol on a Devo 7e, thanks!

If I find my 4G6 I'll give it a shot.
