helimax tx610 module any good? was created by battlemachine
Hi, I installed an nrf24l01 module on my devo 8s and the nrf24l01 is from a transmitter that came with my bravo sx. But its not good, range is bad, 3 steps away and heli drops, I'm using my axe 100 cp with slt. About to get a new nrf24l01+ but was wondering, is the module from tx610 any better? Its also an nrf24l01 but bigger and has lights seems more reliable, but don't want to just rip it out if the results the same. Also when using slt, does the devo module still transmitting? If it does, then that could be the problem, and I will add switch. I have attached a couple of pics of the module
Pics of module from tx610 when turned on you can see a nice led light!

No, it's not. This module has nRF24LE1, not nRF24L01+. The former is a combination of the RF front-end and 8051 MCU, so protocol implementation is on the chip and the chip can not be used for other protocols.
