V911 vs. V929 was created by billmester
Hi,
the V929 manual says: -quote-
"This product can be controlled with the V911 transmitter, but be informed that it has some differences as compared to the original WLtoys V929 Beetle TX. If you want to perform 3D stunt movements, it is recommended to use the original WLtoys Beetle TX."
So I can use my Devo10 with the module I have been using for my 911 so far... but what is the difference? Anyone knows? Or just a matter of programming the TX which would have been impossible with the original V911 TX but possible with the Devo10+Deviation?
Thanks,
bm

It's in the programming.
Fact is...there isn't any stunts for the v929. Other than the automated flip. So you are not missing anything.
I have all the stock TX to compare to.
stock v911
stock v911 pro
stock v929
stock v949
stock v959
stock v212
stock v222
stock v262
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks.
This means with basic settings I can fly the v929 perfectly.
How does the auto flip work? Separate chanel? A series of codes? A series of movements pre-programmed?
Thanks,
bm

Take a look at the source (Use the source, Luke!) - FlySky has last 4 channels out of 8 implemented as flags in one of the bytes in the packet. So, I think one of these channels turns autoflip ability on. Then you need to move your pitch or roll to the extreme position and your heli will execute pre-recorded flip. Some other channels seem to be turning on other features on WL-Toys helis - cameras, water guns etc.
