help with new update 4.0.1 was created by royalstar05

I have the Devo 10 that I am going to put the update on my question is will I lose all my plane settings that are stored now and more importent is I have a Walkera wk-2402 and in the discription of the update it say it will support wk-2401 I cannot find that transmmitter is that a misprint or are they the same

make a new folder on your desktop and copy paste all the contents of the tx in there. before you update .... then if things go wrong you can simply copy paste them back into the tx along with version 4.0 ...also after updating you can re import all the models model icons and stuff

If you currently use the original fw, then while you won't "loose" those settings, you can't use them in deviation.
However if you later install back the stock fw, your old models will be there...

The WK2401 and 2402 protocols are the same, these are actually tx types, which use the same protocol...
