I was flying my walkera qr x350 yesterday and took it a little farther then i usually do to test out the RTL but before i could flip the flight mode switch it went into RTL on its own due to signal loss...Thing is it really was not that far from where i was standing i would guess it was around 800 feet ....Is that the normal range for the DSM protocol? or should it be farther? the quad has a full range ar6200 rx with sat module so i was thinking it should get better range then that...i have the db gain set to 150 on the tx if anybody has any info please chime in...i guess its a good thing i have the RTL set to failsafe or it could have easily flew off to who knows where...
