You can, but you need to know the pin order. If it isn't labeled that can be tricky to figure out without a logic-analyzer.

Thank you very much for that info. I'm trying to cross reference that info with another pic Ive found and some things match and some don't. Do all the different modules hook up to the same spots on the 7e? I will attach the other pic I referred to

Okay I got my module all wired in now and that part is done. My next question is about the tx.ini modifications. Is this the correct setup for my module?
As first module:
enable-nrf24l01=A13
has_pa-nrf24l01=1
As first module:
enable-nrf24l01=A13
has_pa-nrf24l01=1

Alright guys thanks for all the help. Onto my next hurdle . Does the included screen shot look like the correct modifications have been made to the module ini? This has been a huge learning experience for me and I'm excited to finally be getting close. Where it takes you guys but minutes to setup and program these radios unfortunately it takes me literal days to accomplish so please bear with me. I am thinking I might have gotten it right because on the radio when I cycle through the protocols the asterisk (*) is no longer next to the v202 protocol. I am having some other issues I need help with also but would like to address this one before I move on. Thanks again guys and I appreciate all the hard work you've put in making this available for us and helping me getting it working

Looks to be correctly set up, given that you did use the A13 point when installing the module.
