Devo 12S problems was created by Pattaya01
I have some issues with my Devo12S and I don't know if I do something wrong or these are bugs:

1) I copied a 12 channel model to a free model and changed the protocol to PPM. After that, channel 11 and 12 still seem to be active as the bars move as if it is still the 12 channel model I copied. Only 10 channels can be selected, so should channel 11 and 12 not be disabled automatically?

2) I tried to change one of the mixers from simple to complex and assign a 3 pos switch to it (RUDDDR). Everytime I changed something, it jumped back to SRC AIL and no matter what I changed, it just did not want to accept the changes. I finally manage by changing only 1 parameter at a time, press OK and changed the next parameter. Very cumbersome...

So, is this me or a bug??

PS: Someone with a Devo7 reported almost the same thing:

only 10 channels are supported via PPM. This is because PPM can't actually handle more than 10 channels without a non-standard width.

I'm aware of the 2nd issue, though my explanation there stands. set the src (to anything) before setting the curve to fixed. I'll get it fixed eventually to work as you'd expect.
Edit: I just checked in a fix for #549

1) It does not related to PPM. It was always such way, if you have more tuned channels and then change to less channels, disabled channels are actually not disabled and continue to work. I don't know is it a bug or not.

Probably it may be useful if you change (decrease) number of channel accidentally, you can return it back without loss of channel setup.
