Templates and wingtypes

I'm a newbie with rc and deviation. Just installed it on my walkera 12s. Now I miss the easy and wide selection of templates and wingtypes of the orig firmware for a fast start with a new setup. The firmware seems to be very mighty and I'd like to get into it.

I read many of the posts and visited the download section but could not find a general section to this. Most of the posts concerned detailed problems to certain models or hardware.

Does such an topic exist or are all experts in complex mixing (found the tutorial to this - thx to mattigerman) and do their configs "from scratch"?
