Programming gyro V120D02S Devo 7E was created by saidem
Hi,
I have receiver with Helico V120D02S RX2636H-D and Devo 8S. With this Devo Devention gyroscope moves the tail rotor and the swashplate. I upgraded to 4.0.1 Deviation with Devo 7E. The gyro moves the tail rotor, but not the swashplate. I think I misconfigured deviation, I went through mixers and I put on channel 7. Everything else works.
I'm a bit lost, could you help me please.
Thank you.

You have a deadband curve on channel 7.
Keep template as Expo&DR and configure:
Pos 0 (High): curve=fixed, switch=none, scale=70, offset=0
Pos 1 (Mid): curve=fixed, switch=MIX1, scale=55, offset=0
Pos 2 (Low): curve=fixed, switch=MIX2, scale=25, offset=0
Change MIX1 and MIX2 with what switches you have available. You can even leave out the third position.
Gyro value needs translation to Deviation scale, like this:
dev_value = (manual_value + 100) /2
So for for gyro at 60 you have:
value = (60+100)/2 = 80
Keep template as Expo&DR and configure:
Pos 0 (High): curve=fixed, switch=none, scale=70, offset=0
Pos 1 (Mid): curve=fixed, switch=MIX1, scale=55, offset=0
Pos 2 (Low): curve=fixed, switch=MIX2, scale=25, offset=0

Hi
I return you the updated file. Tell me if it's OK, as Devo 7E has only 2 positions FMOD 0 and 1. In the template Expo & Dual Rate I have not found the Offset. I have attached the file for you to tell me if it is OK.
Thank you

Yes looks ok, gyro should be active. keep in mind though this controls only the tail gyro, the swash gyro gains is controlled by the pots on the flightboard.

I tried with the settings you gave me, but it did not change anything. After searching a bit more, I saw that I had cut the throttle because I also installed the "sticky" throttle hold. You can see in Virt.4. So when I put the throttle it works. But in fact, I do not know why turning off the throttle influences the swashplate gyro. If you know why, I'm interested. I did not understand as "controlled by the pots on the flightboard".
Thanks.
Thanks.
