Assign a channel to either switch on 7e? was created by bmw111
Hi, new 7e owner, flashed Deviation this morning, read/searched through the threads, but can't figure out how to simply assign the FMOD or Hold switches to a channel. (I usually fly with a Futaba 14SG, but got the 7e for my recently renewed interest in small quads.) I know the switches are active, I can see that in the Stick Input screen -- but they do not show movement on any of the channels in the Channel Output screen.
This is something that is second nature to me using Futaba gear. I'm frustrated that something usually so simple seems to be complicated in Deviation. What am I missing? Thanks to all...

Its not exactly intuitive, but you'll get it if you go through the model.ini files. Here is a clip I use with my V272 to allow me to get into Flip mode on the V272:
[channel6]
template=simple
[mixer]
src=FMODE1
dest=Ch6
curvetype=expo
points=0,0
I also have three rates on the Aileron (roll) channel based on the position of the right three-way switch (SW B -- the left side 3-way is SW A):
[channel1]
reverse=1
template=expo_dr
[mixer]
src=AIL
dest=Ch1
scalar=60
curvetype=expo
points=-10,-10
[mixer]
src=AIL
dest=Ch1
switch=SW B1
scalar=80
curvetype=expo
points=-10,-10
[mixer]
src=AIL
dest=Ch1
switch=SW B2
curvetype=expo
points=-10,-10
Download all the model.ini files you can find...there are a lot of ways to use them.

Hello
If you want to assign a hold switch; go to mixer, then clic on THR. there you find safety, here you can choose a switch you want.
For the other switches:
go to mixer. Clic on the button next to the channel of your choise. there you can choose None, Simpel, Expo&DR, Complex and Cyclic.
You need to choose Expo&DR or Complex, If you toggle down you wiil find Switch, there you can assign a switch you want.
Good Luck

(in advanced mixer guide)
1.go to model menu
2.click on mixer
