Antenna range was created by TomPeer
Hello,
If i keep the antenna's of the extra modules in the casing of the transmitter, would that effect the range much, in comparison against external antenna's?
Thanks,
Tom

If mouted into the top of the case and kept horizontal, never mind.
Depends on the antenna and the right length. A plastic cover is anyway
round the wire, even at an external.
This one made no difference to an external at another tx.

Thank you.
What about this one.
www.banggood.com/A7105-Wireless-RF-2_4GH...Module-p-909404.html
Would it matter to change the smal wire for a longer one, for example from the original 911 module.
Thanks
Tom

2.4ghz doesn't work that way. A longer wire will actually reduce your range. There's a reason why it's exactly that long.

I have exact this module and you will not fly as far as it is possible with that module, trust me.
Nearly lost a V911 in nastier wind and it was with 3mW still steerable within
200m but would not come back.
This setup was for flying into the garden...ONLY...I supposed ...
